Mark Perlick
Vice President of Technology
BorgWarner Inc.

Mark Perlick was named Vice President of Technology in 2005. Prior to that, he had been president and general manager of BorgWarner Transmission Systems since 2004. Previously, he was vice president, engineering, BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems, the position he held since joining BorgWarner in February 1999. He also served as Acting President of BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems from February 2002 - December 2002.

Before joining BorgWarner, Mr. Perlick had a 35-year career at General Motors Corp beginning in 1964 as a co-op student. He held numerous positions in engineering and program management at GM. His most recent position there was chief engineer in automatic transmission engineering.

Mr. Perlick holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from General Motors Institute (Kettering University) in Flint, Michigan. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers.
