France
The facility in Tulle joined Transmission Systems in 1995, but was originally opened in 1856. Today it manufactures solenoids, valves for ABS traction control systems, brake assist booster controls for braking systems and transmission control modules.
In 2004, the Tulle facility began producing the control module for DualTronic™ transmissions.
Beru has manufacturing facilities in Chazelles and La Ferté-Macé, and distribution centers in Nanterre and Paris-Saint Germain.
Germany
In 1899, the forerunner of Turbo Systems, Kuhnle, Kopp and Kausch, was founded. Today, the Turbo Systems headquarters along with a technical center and manufacturing facility are located in Kirchheimbolanden.
Transmission Systems has had a presence in Germany for over 50 years. The unit makes clutch modules, friction products and one-way clutches at its facilities in Heidelberg, Ketsch and Arnstadt. Its Euro Lab is also located in Ketsch.
Markdorf is home to the company's thermal business European technical center and manufacturing facility, which produces fans and fan drives.
Beru operates five facilities in Germany including its headquarters in Ludwigsburg, electronics plant in Bretten and facilities in Neuhaus-Schierschnitz, Muggendorf and Kandel (a joint venture).
Hungary
In 2001, Turbo Systems established a production facility in Oroszlany. The unit makes turbochargers for passenger cars.
Beru produces electronics at its manufacturing facility in Tiszakécske. Originally begun as a joint venture in 2001, the operation fully combined with the company in 2004.
Ireland
In 1986, Beru opened its production facility in Tralee.
The operation produces temperature sensors, heating elements and glow plugs.
Italy
In 1987, Morse TEC formed a joint venture in Arcore, acquiring complete ownership in 1995. The facility, which includes Morse TEC's European headquarters, produces Hy-Vo® chain, roller chain, tensioners, silent timing chain and engine timing systems.
Since 1994, Beru has operated a production facility in Biassono and a distribution facility in Cassina de Pecchi.
Spain
Beru Microelectrónica is located in Vitoria. It joined Beru in 1999.
The operation produces hybrid circuits and electronic control units supporting the development and production of diesel instant start technology and electronic tire pressure monitoring systems.
United Kingdom
Built in 1969, the TorqTransfer Systems facility in Margam, Wales, manufactures synchronizers and transfer cases.
Turbo Systems completed its plant in Bradford, England, in 1975 and has expanded its operations there several times. The facility produces turbochargers for commercial vehicles.
In Diss, England, Beru manufactures high performance wire assemblies, plug connections, sensors and electronic measuring systems for the racing industry.
